359 Days.

I can now share with my blog readers (all 2 of you!) that 2012 will be the year of not only our wedding, but two of our best friend’s wedding as well!  Jon and Tiffany are engaged!!!  I am so excited to be sharing the experience of wedding planning and engagement with our dear friends.  It brings so much joy.  J

 In other news we’re approaching our 1 year engaged anniversary on Wednesday the 21^st.  1 year ago tomorrow we were headed to Cancun, Mexico with Jon and Tif for the best vacation of our lives so far.

 As far as planning, I’ve accomplished a lot.  With the help of my mom, we’ve booked transportation for the wedding party for an amazingly discounted price.  We’ve switched ballrooms at the venue to a larger ballroom with a window.  The previous room’s maximum was our total invited number which made me seriously nervous.  After visiting the site with my Grandma back in July I’d been sick with worry that it would be cramped and too small.  This upgrade came at a low cost, but we can put the extra money for that towards upgrades from the venue so it will all work out for the best. 

I’m currently looking into rehearsal dinner locations.  Has anyone had good/bad experiences at a Bravo! location?  Specifically Cranberry Township?  Any suggestions of places are welcomed. J

Today I’m having lunch with Muss and then we’re heading to Alfred Angelo to try on the bridesmaid dress I’ve chosen.  It’s the first time I’ll see it ‘on’ someone so I’m excited for that.  But mostly excited to spend some time with Muss; I’ve really been blessed with marrying a man whose family is so amazing.
